The hijacked and since deregistered One Nation Party in Queensland held their A.G.M on Saturday the 26th of May 2007.

Since their failed attempt to hold a legal A.G.M on the Easter weekend in 2005 after failing to reach a quorum of 50 One Nation Queensland Division held another AGM at Peter Wise's farm out of Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast in September of 2005. After reducing the number required to form a quorum from 50 to just 20. Wise's farm was the venue for the 2007 Farcical A.G.M.

Why farcical? A case in point was the election of office bearers. In 2005 some members applied for inclusion in the election process and because they were members the current committee did not want elected, there names were left off the ballot papers, which was the responsibility of Anne Law the then Secretary and returning officer and candidate for office in the same election. Following embarrassing complaints from those members who were left off the ballot papers, the procedure for electing office bearers was tightened up to ensure there was not a repeat of that farce. The election of office bearers in 2007 was by ballot paper again but only 1 candidate per position was printed on the ballot papers and those names were the current executive, ensuring a smooth election.

Even though the rules state clearly that if there is only 1 candidate for a position the position is automatically declared filled, no not this committee, they insisted on printing ballot papers and mailing out those papers for the few remaining members to fill out and send back and some of the approximately 35 members who attended the A.G.M counted and scrutinized the counting of the ballot papers.

of the deregistration took place and the fact that in order to stand candidates in the federal election they would have to be endorsed by N.S.W Division was realized. Not much else was discussed worthy of note other than they were producing a commercial for the election concentrating on the huge waste of drinking water being pumped from Frasier Island into the sea each day, however the brains (and I use that term loosely) behind the scheme decided to put on a show by hiring a plane to pick up some key members and the nominated candidate and they also hired a helicopter to take them from the mainland to Frasier Island, the chopper was held there on standby while the commercial was shot and over 5 hours later and over $5,000.00 later for the chopper hire alone they had finished the shoot, only to find out that they had not gained permission to film on Frasier Island anyway, so it is now doubtful the add will air on mainstream TV.It is rumored that the money for the plane and chopper and filming was paid for by Peter Wise, well we have to ask was he so wise? One of the main questions remain and that is how much longer will these stupidities continue to be funded and supported, before the few members remaining in QLD Division ask them selves if they might have elected the wrong people, oh that’s right they did not get a choice!

In the name of PaulineYou may be wondering why the political party Paulime Hanson is trying to register in time for the next Federal Election (our informants say is due in September this year) is said to be called Pauline's United Australia Party, does not contain the name Hanson? When Pauline left her One Nation Party in 2002 She left in the incompetent hands of Rod Evans and Ian Nelson and Colin Law just to name a few, with Rod Evans ruling the party and influencing Victorian Division, W A Division and to a lesser extent SA Division, the WA Division and Qld Division were registered with the Australian Electoral Commission as One Nation, removing the name Pauline Hanson from the party, as requested by Pauline herself, however because NSW Division was not taking the advise of Rod Evans and was awake to what Rod was up to and as a result was out of favor with QLD VIC and WA Divisions, when NSW Division attempted to remove Pauline Hanson's name from the party and register as One Nation Australia, they were refused the name change by the AEC solely based on the objections by VIC QLD and WA Divisions executives, and their objections were the only received by the AEC. NSW were forced to retain the name Pauline Hanson's One Nation. Prior to December 2006 the AEC contacted all of the parties which were on a list of parties to be deregistered, the AEC gave all the parties in all states the opportunity to go to a meeting with the AEC and prove their case as to why they should remain registered, Rod Evans did not bother to show, nor did anyone from QLD Division. On the 27th of December 2006 all of the minor parties on the list were deregistered, with the exception of NSW Division, which attended the meetings with the AEC and was found to be the only credible division of the party to be registered, which under the new rules of the AEC, NSW Division became the sole owner of the rights to use the names Pauline Hanson or One Nation for the purpose of Federal Registration with the AEC.Pauline Hanson has approached the NSW Division demanding them to remove her name from the party, but was kindly reminded they attempted to do exactly that and was refused by a letter campaign of objections by Rod Evans Paulins appointed National President, and if Pauline wanted to have her name removed she had to contact Rod Evans and sort out the problems he has created, because his actions in protesting the name change has ultimately resulted in Pauline herself not being able to use her name in a Federal Political Party Registration.
